Pinote is built by Blue Tech Studio and is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Pinote works in two modes offline mode (no account required) and Backup & Sync mode (optional, requires Google Sign-In). What we collect depends on which mode you use.

Data collected is used solely to provide the features of Pinote:
Offline mode: All notes are stored locally on your device using IndexedDB. No data leaves your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data.
Backup & Sync mode: When you sign in with Google and enable sync, your notes are stored in Google Firebase Firestore and images are stored in Cloudinary. Both services are hosted on secure, encrypted infrastructure.
Pinote uses the following third-party services only when Backup & Sync is enabled:

Pinote does not use advertising services, analytics trackers, or any other third-party data collection tools.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. Your notes are private and accessible only to you.
You can delete your data at any time:
When you export a note as PDF or share it as an image, the exported file is generated on your device and shared using your device's native share system. Pinote does not receive or store exported files.
Pinote does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is rated Everyone and contains no content unsuitable for children.
All data transmitted between Pinote and third-party services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Firebase and Cloudinary enforce strict access controls only authenticated users can access their own data.
We may update this Privacy Policy as new features are added to Pinote. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
